Welcome to the page for the Team Buckeye’s CFAES Sustains Life peloton. Many of us have had family members, friends, and colleagues affected by cancer; this experience can be isolating and frustrating. But Pelotonia is about creating a community greater than any one person, and there is no stronger community than that within the College of Food, Agriculture, and Environmental Sciences. We invite the community within CFAES to unite in support of life-changing cancer research on-going at the James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute. Supporting cancer research is part of our mission to sustain life and students within CFAES contribute to Pelotonia research. We are excited to be a part of Pelotonia and hope you will join us.
The beauty of this event is the momentum generated by the seemingly small efforts of its individual members. Over the past 10 years, individual volunteers, riders, and donors have raised over $184 million to drive innovation in diverse fields relating to the detection, prevention, or treatment of cancer. You can be a part of this outstanding event today! There are multiple ways that you can be involved in our Pelotonia team this year. Please consider joining our effort either as a donor (click at the top right of this page to donate now), virtual rider, volunteer, or a rider in one of the many mileage choices available over the weekend of August 2-4. Thank you for your support of our team and this effort to forge a better tomorrow for future generations!
