Dear Friends of the Ohio State University College of Dentistry, On August 3rd, 2019 an impassioned group of dental students decided to participate in Pelotonia 19, a bike tour that raises money for cancer research at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute.
Since their first Pelotonia, this group has added many members, and will continue to expand upon what they first set out to accomplish! Pelotonia is a grassroots organization with one goal - to end cancer with 100% of every dollar raised by Pelotonia, and its riders, going directly to cancer research at OSUCCC- The James. Many members of the College of Dentistry Student Peloton Team (BSR - College of Dentistry) have pledged to participate in rides up to 200 miles and raise money in support of cancer research and treatment.
In the past pelotonia has not only served as a way to help others and raise money for cancer research, but also to challenge us, both physically and mentally through our rides and our creativity and passion for service. Through pelotonia we no only manage to build lasting memories but help us begin our lifelong journey to become service members of the community.
In order to help reach our fundraising goals, we are seeking sponsorship through donations. If you would like to donate, we would be honored to display your company's information on our Pelotonia and Facebook pages for Pelotonia 19. If you are interested in supporting the College of Dentistry Student Peloton Team, please click on the Donate to Our Peloton link above our team's photo. Additionally, take a moment to visit our member's profiles to learn more about our team and why we are passionate about this great cause. Every donation makes a difference, and no donation is too small!
