Help me make a difference for cancer patients! If you need more convincing to make a donation, read on.
For this girl, cancer is personal.
I was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma in June 2016 after finding a lump in my neck. It was a surreal time and thrust upon me the unwanted identity of Cancer Patient.
Chemo was miserable but it also saved my life, giving me the new identity of Cancer Survivor. So many others I've known, including my brother Jeremy, who died of melanoma in 2006, have never made it from Cancer Patient to Cancer Survivor. I'm lucky.
I want to see the day where everyone in the dreaded Cancer Patient club eventually progresses to the Cancer Survivor club, like I did. Which is why I'm going to ride like the wind and tell cancer to shove it every mile!
