|$0 My Goal: $600.00|
My ride will look different this year as Pelotonia has made some adjustments due to Covid19 but finding a cure for cancer is still the main objective. I thought maybe I wouldn't ride this year and then realized that would be giving up. I tell everyone battling this disease to never give up so I need to take my own advice. My goal is to ride/walk/swim 600 miles. The 600 stands for 100 miles for each year (6 years) my husband, Tim Fenneman, has been battling this awful disease. I'm also riding/walking/swimming for good friends, Sam Shaffer, Donnie Burroughs, and Dan DeVoe who are in the battle as well. I ride/walk/swim in memory of very special friends Heidi Steitz, Dave Braskett, and Phil Weldon. Also Survivors, Brett Grove, Kris Fenneman, Mike Patton, and SanDee Tidd. My hope is that they will find a cure for this disease that seems to be hitting more families everyday. By experiencing firsthand the great work that is being done at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center-James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute. It means so much to know that 100% of all donations will go directly towards cancer research. The Pelotonia 2020 ride is cancelled, but Pelotonia is not and never will be cancelled. While our normal ends, cancer never stops. In fact cancer patients and survivors are high risk. Please join me in supporting this cause where 100% of your donation will go directly towards cancer research at the OSU Comprehensive Cancer Center-James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute.
