|$0 My Goal: $1,250.00|
In 2009, I traded in my 25 year-old Univega mountain bike for a road bike, and that was the start to the amazing adventures of Pelotonia. In August, I will ride 100 miles surrounded by family, friends, patients, and survivors. Each with our own story and motivations but all with one goal…to end cancer.
For me, Pelotonia has become more than a bike ride..
-It is the conversations I have while riding with complete strangers and close friends.
-It is the man cheering on the side of the road with a sign that says thank you for saving my wife.
-It is the American flag painted on the side of the barn that pops of out the corn fields of central Ohio.
-It is the hundreds of people lining the streets of Granville.
-It is Matt’s dedication to his patients and to finding a cure.
-It is in memory of my Gramma Sweetie Pie, Grampa Frank, Gronka, Uncle Jim, and close friends – Bart and Jesse.
-It is in honor of my Aunt Barbara and my dear friends who fight to show cancer where to stuff it.
-It is ONE GOAL…TO END CANCER
