|$0 My Goal: $2,000.00|
2020 marks my 4th year of being involved with Pelotonia, and the fight to find a cure for cancer, and I couldn’t be prouder. I participate in honor of my father, Bob Haley, who I lost to cancer in 2015. The loss of my father changed me in many ways, one of which was to focus more on what really matters. Pelotonia provides me a way to make a difference and honor my father at the same time. My goal this year is to raise at least $2,000.
Founded in 2008, Pelotonia was established with the objective to fund life-saving cancer research. Pelotonia is a three-day experience that includes a weekend of cycling, entertainment, and volunteerism. Through its first eleven rides, Pelotonia raised more than $207 million for cancer research. Thanks to its generous funding partners, American Electric Power Foundation, Huntington Bank, L Brands Foundation, Peggy and Richard Santulli, Harold C. Schott Foundation, Cardinal Health Foundation, Diamond Hill Capital Management, and Nationwide Insurance, Pelotonia is able to direct 100 percent of every rider-raised dollar to cancer research at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute.
Together, I truly believe we can find a cure. We have made so much progress in the battle against cancer, thanks to the amazing researchers at the James Cancer Hospital, and you. Donations like yours make it possible.
