My Pelotonia is to ride a 28 mile ride to honor my mother. She was 28 when I was born and I was 28 when she died of liver cancer in 1985. I also plan to sew 20 zipper bags for Lifeline of Ohio and continue making fun masks for anyone who needs some.
It has been a privilege to have ridden for 10 years! This year I dedicate my 11th ride to those whose names appear on my 2020 Pelotonia Tribute Quilt. The names of 50 people who have battled cancer appear on blocks that represent their ribbon colors. Some are survivors and others, like my mother, lost their lives to cancer. I ride for each of them and the thousands of others who have cancer. Let's continue to make a difference together. Please consider donating to End Cancer. Remember - 100% of every single dollar raised is directed to life-saving cancer research at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center-James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute. Your support matters. Join me. Together, we are unstoppable.
