This will be my fourth year riding, going back to the 45 mile route. I have made a commitment to raise $1500 this year. Pelotonia has a special place in my heart, and I am proud to be a part of such a worthy movement. As in the past, I am riding in memory of my friend Catriona, who courageously battled breast cancer, but ultimately lost the fight. I also ride for those I know who are in the middle of their own fight, those supporting loved ones who are fighting, and those who are fortunate to be able to call themselves survivors. Everyone has been impacted by cancer in one way or another - whether you are a survivor, a fighter, or a loved one of someone who has fought or is fighting this terrible disease. I am proud to support Pelotonia, and know that the money raised by myself and all the riders, virtual riders, and volunteers will make an impact, not only here in Ohio, but around the world. Together, we can help support life-changing cancer research.
Founded in 2008, Pelotonia is a grassroots movement with One Goal End Cancer. Focused on a community of passionate fundraisers and centered around a three-day experience of cycling, entertainment, and volunteerism, Pelotonia has raised over $150 million for cancer research. Please join me in supporting this cause, where 100% of your donation will go directly towards life-saving cancer research at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center-James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute.
