I'm proud to be part of this event for the 4th consecutive year. I've lost too many people to this terrible disease. I'm riding for my mother-in-law who never got to meet her grandchildren. I'm riding for my grandma and my aunt and my uncle who lost their battles and left behind spouses, siblings, children and grandchildren. I'm riding for my aunt who fought and won and my cousins who had the advantage of fighting it before they had to because of research and testing. I'm riding for friends and colleagues who have lost a loved one, have beaten cancer themselves or are fighting it right now. I'm riding because cancer doesn't discriminate and can attack any one of us at any time. I'm riding to help find a cure. I'm riding for One Goal End Cancer!
Founded in 2008, Pelotonia is a grassroots movement with One Goal End Cancer. Focused on a community of passionate fundraisers and centered around a three-day experience of cycling, entertainment, and volunteerism, Pelotonia has raised over $130 million for cancer research. Last year, 7,749 Riders from 40 states and 9 countries participated along with 2,616 Virtual Riders and 2,794 Volunteers. Please join me in supporting this cause, where 100% of your donation will go directly towards life-saving cancer research at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center-James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute.
