|$0 My Goal: $3,500.00|
In 2009 Jason crossed the finish line at the first Pelotonia ride. Jason’s sister Ali was by my side watching. I knew then this organization was special. We lost Ali less than a year later at the age of 25 to a brain tumor. Jason has ridden in her honor 4 more times since! Many other people in my life have battled this awful disease including Jason, who thanks to early detection and excellent medical care is cancer free after he was diagnosed with testicular cancer in 2013. Sadly, there are so many others as well.
So, what can I do?
I can RIDE! I can raise awareness & funds to help support an organization that donates 100% to research that is making a change! I can train & push myself beyond my comfort zone knowing that any pain I feel is nothing compared to what someone with cancer is going through. This year I am excited to be challenging myself even more by riding 100 miles! I am riding & raising because cancer sucks. I am riding because I want my boys to grow up in a world where ALL cancer is curable, if not obsolete! One Goal
