My mother died from lung cancer in 2003. She was diagnosed the month our son was born, and she passed away 7 months later. She loved our kids to no end, and they remember her only from photos and stories. That's not how it should be.
But Pelotonia isn't about one rider who's mother died of cancer. Pelotonia is about thousands of people touched by cancer in every imaginable way. thousands who are moved to do something about it together more strongly than any could do alone. This is my appeal to you to join us to fight cancer. If you can ride, I'll ride with you. If you can't ride, please donate to our ride. Donating makes you part of Pelotonia too, and every penny will go toward cancer research.
Throughout this year, Lori and I will be riding, walking, volunteering, living healthier, and raising money with ONE GOAL, to END CANCER. Together, let's end this awful disease and the impact it has on us all.
