|Congrats! Keep going!|
Pelotonia 2019 will mark my fifth year riding in the fight against cancer. Every year I ride with names on my bike of those who have fought and won, are fighting or have lost the battle to cancer. Sadly, every year the list of names grows. When people often ask me why I ride such a long distance, my response is, this growing list of names is why I ride.
Again this year I will be riding 200 miles over two days in August in support of the lifesaving cancer research at the Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center - James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute!!! Some day through the efforts of Pelotonia, “The James” and the thousands of people in the Pelotonia Community, we will find a cure for this horrible disease that affects all of us in one way or another.
This year is extra special for me as I will be riding the first 45 miles with my 14 year old daughter (SL0235). Together we will carry the torch for all those fighting this horrible disease, especially our close family members who live this every day!
Please consider making a donation to my ride by clicking on the link in the upper right hand side of this page or donating to my daughters ride. Any donation, big or small, is welcomed! 100% of your donation will go to the Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center - James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute.
