|$0 My Goal: $500.00|
Hello! This year, I have decided to participate in Pelotonia for my very first time! I have been with Huntington Bank for two years in July (2020) and ever since I started, Pelotonia has always been an event that has crossed my mind and piqued my interest. I began my research about Pelotinia in 2018 when I started as a teller and quickly understood why everyone was talking about it and why it was so important. I knew then that this was something I had to get in on.
I am lucky enough to have never known the loss that cancer brings to so many people. I have had always had a few degrees of separation when it came to this kind of loss. But seeing coworkers and friends who knew what that loss felt like firsthand...I knew if there was a way I could give back, then I should be doing my part.
This year, I have decided to ride 25 miles from Columbus to Pickerington. Knowing the economic struggles we are facing with COVID-19, I am humbled to ask for donations. There is truth behind the phrase, "No donation is too small" and I truly do believe that currently. My total fundraising goal is $1,250, and I would love to meet that this year since this is my first year riding and raising awareness, but I understand that not everyone will meet their goal and not everyone is able to donate. Spreading the word is half the battle, so let's get out there and fight the fight against cancer!
Thank you for your time and for your donation!
