I am proud to be part of Team Buckeye-SyncCancer sponsored by The Ohio State Synchronized Swim Team. For many years, I have been doing the swim against cancer for Pelotonia as a Virtual Rider. After swimming 72 laps, I would be "Lifted" up in the water by members of the team. Hopefully, every participant will be swimming again at the McCorkle Aquatic Pavlion when it is safe from COVID-19. You can donate as a Virtual Rider or join me at Team Buckeye Sync Cancer in the Swim Against Cancer. It is sponsored by The Ohio State Synchronized Swim Team. In 2017, I raised $1,035 for Pelotonia was the most ever. Last year, I raised a record $1,220 for Pelotonia. In 2018, I fell short on my goal (raised $985). I have upped my goal of $1,500. Also, I am doing this for my friends Shannon Hazelton who went through Breast Cancer who survived, my dentist James B. Ford, and in memory of Mama Mimi's Take-N-Bake Pizza co-founder Jodi Aufdencamp who lost her fight with Breast Cancer and Special Olympics basketball coach Tracy Austin with Pancreatic Cancer. I look forward to you support and/or participation in this worthy cause in the swim.
