|$0 My Commitment: $2,000.00|
Yet again, Team Brasky is at it in 2019! My brother Ted and I are riding the 100-mile route to help cure cancer.
This year, we ride because we want to make sure the adorable children in my pic have their grandpa—my dad—around for years to come. He was diagnosed with prostate cancer in December, so this year, this ride and fundraising has an even more personal angle for us. I’m also riding so that my brother Ted, a cancer researcher at the James, and his colleagues have the resources to continue to look for cancer’s causes and cures. We’re riding for one goal: to end cancer.
This will by my sixth Pelotonia, and we're riding for Team Bexley for the second time. Last year, Ted and I rode a combined 200 miles and raised over $4500. Also, last year, thanks to all of you, I finally #BeatTed (at fundraising)! We're again riding from Columbus to Gambier, OH, and hope to see many of you at the finish line.
This year, my fundraising goal is $2001. Any donation is tax-deductible, and every last penny goes to cancer research. It's hard to beat that!
For occasionally entertaining training updates—this time, amusing because I'm also running the Philly Marathon in mid-November—check in with me on Twitter @JtB1899, or have a look at this page for new pics with my niece and nephew, or just shoot me an email [jb2719 AT georgetown DOT edu]. I'd love to hear from you!
