Eight years ago, I made the decision to ride in my first Pelotonia because of its’ mission and goal. Pelotonia is a grassroots bike ride that was established with One Goal: End Cancer. Pelotonia’s objective is to fund life-saving cancer research. 100% of the money donated goes directly to cancer research at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute.
I ride in hope that one day we will ride in celebration of discovering more cures and more treatments for cancer. I hope that you will join me in this fight.
Although we personally may never see the positive impact of the cancer research happening at The James, I do believe that many people are experiencing the results Pelotonia’s funds every day. You can read about the work being done through Pelotonia funds at www.pelotonia.org/impact.
