|$0 My Goal: $500.00|
In this crazy 2020 pandemic year, it is important to me and my family to continue to support the efforts of Pelotonia. This year with the new altered format, my husband, my daughter and I will ride 6-55 mile personal Pelotonia rides. One awesome thing we witness at Pelotonia events is the "Who We Ride For" walls. This year we will ride once each for the following family members who are survivors and loved ones lost to cancer:
My involvement in the Pelotonia fundraising mission began when my husband, a cancer survivor, began to participate in the rides and fundraising. For the last several years we have volunteered for many different aspects of the Pelotonia weekend. Two years ago, after new and scary cancer diagnoses in my family, I stepped up to ride with Brian in honor of those the fighters, the survivors, and the loved ones lost to cancer. It was an amazing experience. Riding through Granville, knowing that the fundraising I did will help to find new treatments and cures, made the experience one to be repeated. This year, our daughter Madison is joining us on the ride for the second year and in the fight for a cure for all cancer. Please considering donating to support this awesome mission to raise money for cancer research. Every little bit helps!
Founded in 2008, Pelotonia was established with the objective to fund life-saving cancer research. Focused on a community of passionate fundraisers and centered around a three-day experience of cycling, entertainment, and volunteerism, the Pelotonia community has raised more than $158 million for high-risk, high-reward cancer research. Please join me in supporting this cause, where 100% of your donation will go directly towards cancer research at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center-James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute.
