In memory of my high school BFF, Cassie - who passed away on Feb. 3, 2018. She graced the world in so many ways and research gave her the quality time she so wanted.

In memory of my father-in-law, Bill Bradley, Sr. - best dad-in-law EVER.

In memory of my cousins (Bea, Dan, Frank, Tom and Becky Greenwell) - we miss them all, and they are always with me when I ride.

Even though 2020 is not the year we expected, and there won't be a regular Pelotonia ride weekend, I will be riding in memory of and in celebration of all "my people".  Every year, I ride with ribbons on my bike bag "in remembrance of" and "in celebration of" survivorship; these special people are with me on every pedal stroke.  And for 2020, I already have new ribbons to add. They are all "my people" ... they are why I ride.

Pelotonia started in 2009, and I've participated since that first ride which headed out from Chemical Abstracts. $210 million-to-date sounds like a lot, and what we've accomplished with every dime is massive, from putting new drugs on shelves to the groundbreaking Pelotonia Institute for Immuno-Oncology research center. What we are doing together has global impact - but we are not done.

We must keep going until every family member, friend and loved one gets the full message when they face cancer: "We have a cure for you." We are in this for the long haul, until this goal is met and delivered.  Even during a pandemic, our family, friends and neighbors are still being diagnosed with cancer, or are continuing on their cancer journey.  The ground-breaking research funded by your contributions is still dedicated 100%, to not slow the progress.  

To everyone who has sponsored me over the years: thank you; you are literally strength to my pedals.  I would so appreciate your continued support, as we go 100% to the finish, until we are done beating these diseases.  I know you have your people, too - those whom you love whom cancer has touched. I am so honored to ride for them, as well.  Thank you for donating to my Pelotonia 20 ride, as we keep going for ONE GOAL.
