|Congrats! Keep going!|
Hello Friends and Family,
I will be joining a fabulous group of people this year to raise money for cancer research. This specific event is very special for me as it was started by my friend Emily Marsh Fleming. She was part of my synchro class at OSU and a true leader in and out of the pool. She was diagnosed with breast cancer at 34 while pregnant. She fought hard, but sadly lost her battle to cancer in 2014 when she was 38 years old and her son was only 4. She rode the Pelotonia bike race several times before she passed and in 2013 helped to start the swimming portion of this event. Many synchro alumni will be gathering again this year to swim for Pelotonia. Here is a little more about the Pelotonia community:
In just ten years the Pelotonia community raised over $184 million for cancer research. Every single dollar we raise is invested in innovative cancer research, the brightest minds and ideas, and the tools and technology needed to reach our one goal. Please join me in supporting this cause and let’s save lives. Remember - 100% of every single dollar raised is directed to life-saving cancer research at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center-James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute. Your support matters. Join me. Together, we are unstoppable.
