Hello: I am a native of Columbus, Ohio. My arrival to the world was interesting at best, I was officially born inside the elevator at St. Ann's Hospital on Bryden Road in 1972. So, you could say I was ready for life's ups and downs. I felt one of the worst times in my life, was learning what it took for me to be there for my very best friend. Her mother, whom I dearly loved was dying of cancer. A year later our family learned my aunt's prognosis of cancer was terminal. Their journey's taught me a lot about winning and losing. I cannot recall either ever gave up the fight to survive. Both would always greet me with a smile, never giving and indication of the pain or stress they endured. Losing both has changed me forever knowing that every day is so precious. Looking back now the strength both beautiful spirits displayed is what has bought me to do my first Peloton bike ride. So, I have exchanged my pain, and strength to honor both ladies whom are the loves of my life. My hope this year and going forward is together we can continue the fight to end all cancers. So please help me in this fight. Cancer doesn't discriminate no matter who you are, we have all been affected if not right now, we will be in the future. I thank you for your support.
