This year I am riding for my dear friend, Katy, who has fought quite a battle against cancer for the last nine months.
Katy says that it took 15-20 specialists just to diagnose her. On December 21, 2017, Katy was diagnosed with Natural Killer (NK)/T-cell lymphoma and was placed in an ICU the following day, where she remained for the next 21 days. Katy has undergone chemotherapy, endless doctors appoitments, a bone marrow transplant and is currently doing lots of physical therapy. She is working so hard to get back to normal.
Watching Katy work to get back to normal life has been so inspiring. This is why I ride; so we can END CANCER.
This year I am riding 45 miles. Will you help me reach my goal of donating $1500?
