|$0||My Commitment: $100.00|
|Congrats! Keep going!|
Last year, I attended my first ever Pelotonia cheering on my sister and some great friends of mine. The energy and happiness I experienced watching all of the riders pass was genuinely indescribable.
Since Pelotonia last August, I lost my Grandmother to cancer. I watched this disease steal the glow behind her smile and the twinkle in her eye. Just a few weeks after her diagnosis, she was gone. Just like that. This disease took my Grandma way too fast. I've watched this disease do the same thing to far too many other grandparents, parents, siblings, children, colleagues, friends, and loved ones.
Unfortunately, I'll be out of town during this year's Pelotonia. BUT, I am still trying to do my part in ending cancer. I've registered as a Virtual Rider! What does that mean, exactly? I will not be physically getting on a bike, but I will still be fundraising money to benefit Pelotonia and their dedication to cancer research at OSU. My goal is small – just $250, and I donated the first $100 to my virtual ride. Will you help me in reaching the last portion of my fundraising goal?!
Let's do this. Let's end cancer. Together. #OneGoal
