It's officially been a year since I started a position as the Event & Volunteer Manager at Pelotonia, and am more energized than ever for everything that this community and organization has achieved and will continue to achieve in 2020!
For those of you who don't know, Pelotonia is an inspirational bike ride that takes place August 7-9, offering routes of anywhere from 25-200 miles for riders to choose. Every rider commits to raising a certain amount of funds, 100% of which go directly to life-saving cancer research at The James Cancer Hospital & Research Institute, right here in Columbus, Ohio. This research impacts so many people every single day - as some of you know, some of those funds for research are even actively involved in my mom's current fight against cancer!
This year, as a member of Pelotonia's staff, I'm committed to raising funds that save lives every single day, even though you won't find me on a bike that first weekend of August (you'll likely instead find me running around from site to site, managing volunteers, answering radios, rocking my fanny pack, and being inspired 🙂). Please consider donating to my profile.
Every dollar counts, every dollar has an impact, and every dollar can save someone's life (maybe even someone you know!)! Thank you so much for your generosity and support!
