Joan Burns

Columbus to Pickerington
Team Pickerington

Pelotonia was founded in 2008 and was established with one goal, to fund life-saving cancer research. It is a 3-day bicycling event, August 7th-9th and the routes are from 25 miles to 200 miles.

The routes start from Columbus, Pickerington, New Albany, Granville and Gambier, Ohio and run throughout Central and Northeastern Ohio.

To date, Pelotonia has raised over 208 million dollars for Cancer research at the Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center- James Cancer Hospital.

This is my 9th year riding in Pelotonia and it has been a great experience. I am riding the 25 mile route and have committed to raise $1250. 100% of all donations goes directly to The James Cancer Hospital.

I am riding in memory of George Portier and Shawn Blackford.

Please consider donating to this great cause. No donation is too small. Thank you!
