|Congrats! Keep going!|
Dear Family and Friends,
2019 will by my eighth ride in the Ohio State University, Pelotonia. If you have donated or are considering, thank you. Together we are making a difference!
Five reasons to ride, when just one is too many. Father. Mother. Brother. Niece. Step mother. Plus many extended family and friends.
Pelotonia is an annual grassroots bike tour with One Goal: End Cancer. The ride spans two days and 200 miles. Large or small, every donation makes a difference. 100% of every donation will fund essential research at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center - James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute.
My profile picture is from April 2010 during a family vacation where we took my mother to Las Vegas. She was a healthy, vibrant, active, 76 years old, and beautiful. She was diagnosed in September 2010 with stage IV pancreatic cancer. She died February 20, 2011, less than six months after diagnosis. My brother Michael received the same diagnosis in January 2011; he died in September 2011. The day Michael died my then 14-year old niece was diagnosed with colorectal cancer; Lynn died in December 2013. Her cancer strikes just 1 in 5 million adolescents. My father died of esophageal cancer in 2004, and my step mother of lymphoma in 2011. My family has been unfairly burdened by this disease. Yours too?
No matter the type, cancer is indiscrimenate, ugly and unforgiving. By supporting Pelotonia, you will help improve lives through innovations in research with the ultimate goal of winning the war against cancer. I would love to have your support.
When you follow the link below, you will find my personal rider profile and a simple and secure way to make any size donation you wish.
