Thanks everyone for your support. This will be my tenth year riding for cancer research. I plan to keep riding as long as I am able. I am riding Pelotonia again this year to Gambier to help raise money for cancer research. Both my mother and sister died following the onset of breast cancer.
My hope is that my participation in this event will help in the effort to find a cure for this dreaded disease. It is very exciting and rewarding to ride in this event and see all the people along the way. I feel we are doing something to help them and their families by helping find a cure for cancer.
Again this year I will be riding in memory of my mother, sister, my son Zach and all of my friends and relatives that have been touched by this disease. Thanks to all of you for your help! I really appreciate it and think of you as I ride.
I’ve joined the Greatest Team Ever, a community of riders, virtual riders, volunteers, researchers, donors, donors and passionate fundraisers who committed to join forces to make amazing things happen. In just ten years the Pelotonia community raised over $184 million for cancer research. But we aren’t stopping there. Every single dollar we raise is invested in innovative cancer research, the brightest minds and ideas, and the tools and technology needed to reach our one goal. Please join me in supporting this cause and let’s save lives. Remember - 100% of every single dollar raised is directed to life-saving cancer research at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center-James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute. Your support matters. Join me. Together, we are unstoppable.
